That’s because the company felt this was precisely the wrong time to let a portion of the site to the city, thus tying up the property during the current recession. The city council, though, agreed with the reasoning.
There are a number of other new plans for office design and office space lettings believed to be on Springfield’s horizon. Some possibilities include PricewaterhouseCoopers and lawyers DWF, both of which are supposedly looking at 70,000 square feet each at 3 Hardman Street, as well as a large public sector occupier endeavouring to discover around 200,000 square feet.
