Pushchairs are an excellent mode of carrying your baby when going out on those numerous errands that you must complete. They allow for the baby to remain safe and comfortable while allowing you to pursue your work without feeling the strain of actually carrying a baby along.

Whether you go to the local store or just run a simple online search like “pushchair pushchairs“, it is possible to get confused and even intimidated by the sheer variety that is available in the market. Following are some of the basic varieties that you should know about when you are shopping for pushchairs.

Strollers are commonly used pushchairs that are compact, easy to fold and store, and are very convenient while travelling. Being lightweight, they are excellent companions for parents who are constantly on the move. Forward facing is another type of pushchair where the baby faces away from you in his or her seat. This is slightly heavier than the stroller, but is quite comfortable and safe for your baby.

Two in ones and three in ones are those pushchairs where it is possible to get two or three attachments for the cost of a single one. Two in ones typically have a stroller and a carrycot, where the baby can lie down as well as sit, whenever it feels like. Three in ones have an additional car seat attachment that makes it a complete travel system.

Lastly, double pushchairs are available for accommodating two children and these are either twin or tandem pushchairs, depending on how one seat is placed relative to the other.
