Eclipse Presents ‘Inexpensive and Easy’ Swine Flu Support Systems September 24, 2009

The support system helps businesses asses their vulnerability to swine flu and provides dedicated business support to design and implement a foolproof plan using improved broadband help products. A five-step self-assessment questionnaire has been prepared by Eclipse to determine the need of various businesses. This will enable the broadband provider to customize solutions to suit the need of each business.
Mark Thomas, business specialist from Eclipse, justified the company’s initiative to launch a dedicated swine flu portal by pointing out that a majority of small businesses were unprepared to deal with the pandemic and suffered due to closures and employee absenteeism. He cautioned business owners against the pandemic hampering their business operations in the absence of a proper support system.
The National Archives and Records Administration has published a research paper which reveals that 80 percent of companies crash within two years of a major disaster if they fail to come up a good back-up and recovery strategy. Added to this report is the government’s prediction that swine flu will peak in the later half of the year, thereby increasing absenteeism to almost 50 percent. These are definitely bad news for businesses.
A spokesperson from Eclipse said the company was trying show small firms that swine flu or any other catastrophe could be dealt with in a cost-effective, simple and timely manner. The representative added that Eclipse’s remote working and collaboration tools could be effectively implemented and could benefit the businesses in a broad way by making work practices more flexible and allowing efficient and smooth communication between the staff, clients and suppliers.
