Posted in : College Education , trackback

In truth, it’s really not that difficult to become a financial planner. All that it takes is a short 8-day course and some perseverance to surpass assessments. To become a financial planner you need to get the RG146 compliance training from different registered training organizations.
Policy Statement or RG146 is governed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, or more commonly known as the ASIC. RG146 gives you the essential knowledge and background about the financial markets and the financial services industry. Included in the course will be the teaching of etiquettes and good manners that you will possibly need to have in order to advise the client. This type of education is recognized as the Diploma of Financial Planning and is characteristically finished in approximately 8 days. The eight – day course is being held inside a classroom with about 10 other students. You can opt for attending daily classes or calling for a distance education course if you cannot attend the classes. Evaluations are usually done in the classroom but for the distance education, it is done either via fax or online. If you have read the material prior to the assessment, it evaluations will be easy. You would need to go through a virtual role-play, which permits the evaluator to determine whether or not you are ready to go and interact with a client.
