Posted in : Money Making , trackbackIf you are lucky enough to be choosing London office furniture, than I assume you will be working in London, or maybe just helping a friend choose furniture for their office; but either way, I am so envious. I just love London. Anyhow, so much for all that London envy; here are a few tips to help you create that perfect office.
Since you will be spending at least 8 hours, and maybe a lot more, in your office for probably 5 days a week, it will definitely need to be comfortable.
Also make sure your furniture will fit well in your office space. You need room to open cabinets and drawers, and you also need to be able to slide around in your office chair. You also need to have room for clients or other employees in case you have to have a meeting in your office, so you will need space for more chairs or a comfortable sofa.
You definitely have to have the right desk for your computer. If you are lucky enough to have a window in your office, the computer has to fit where you don’t get glare on the screen. You will need a comfortable and adjustable computer chair.
Depending on your position with the company, you could have a futon, in case you need to work extra long hours. You can also consider a spot for a small refrigerator and perhaps a microwave. And of course, if you are an elite employee, you should have a television and a shower. And don’t forget that walk-in closet, so you will be able to refresh after that tense meeting with the president of the company. Oh, dear, I am getting carried away with ambition.
