Several of the world s beautiful seashores are situated in Europe. The beaches are known and highly respected for their sandy beaches, recreational activities and clean azure water. Mallorca offers good seashores and loads of scenery

Mallorca has all you can ever desire when one thinks of the ideal beach. Everybody ranging from little kids to robust swimmers can be a water baby on this pleasant Balearic Island, where the sea is clean and warm.

Use a day in the international center of Palma, an engaging city with lovely buildings, excellent eating places and an impressive cathedral. From here, board an old wooden train for an hour-long trip all the way through the Serra se Tramuntana mountains to the pretty city of S ller.

Cala Mondrag in the south of the island offers two lovely stretches of sand, here you can swim from one bay to another.

Enhanced by traditional wooden-fronted houses and a wide harbour, Porto Colom is a delightful fishing village. There is a good beach and various lively dining establishments on the sea front.

For food and drink, Mallorcan specialities include delicious pa amb oli, which is bread rubbed with olive oil and consumed together with cheese, fruit or ham, and ensa mada, a sweet, flaky pastry. Be sure to test some of the seafood stews and fresh fish or delicious paellas made in lots of dining establishments. All cities has its particular market selling cheese and olives, fruit and vegetables. In case you want to have fresh sea food, head to Cala Figuera in the early hours in the daybreak, where the local fishermen bring in the catch.
