It’s felt in numerous companies that, since every employee has adequate health & safety education, they are well equipped to manage a crisis. Employees in addition need a good understanding of the steps necessary to remedy the situation and also knowing what to do when disaster strikes. Workers are only protected when everything has become automatic. Safety equipment is every bit as important to the well being of your workers as training. When staff find they don’t have gear that is required, or find out that gear is damaged in an emergency, even the very best instruction won’t help them.

It’s a good idea to inspect on a regular basis to ascertain if you have all the essential apparatus and to ensure it is functioning correctly too. If you find something isn’t in perfect order, make certain that it is mended as promptly as is feasible and returned to the proper place. Your employees must receive appropriate health & safety education, but in addition they must have decent gear, scheduled practise sessions, and a supervisor who can motivate your staff. If you put these ideas into practice you will find health & safety legislation will become a normal component of life in the workplace rather than something challenging everyone has to attempt to remember.
