Why Rafael from Holy See (Vatican City) Goes to Chamonix Ski Resort October 30, 2008

Chamonix village is a one of a kind town with the awe inspiring Mont Blanc as well as majestic glaciers. All of us like to go snowboarding or even visiting the Aiguille du Midi. I sometimes fly from Long Beach and stay at a Chamonix catered chalet during my holiday.

I previously stayed in La Quinta Inn Jacksonville Airport North however it never matched its marketing: La Quinta Inn Jacksonville Airport North is located approximately one mile from the Anheuser Busch Brewery, five miles south of Jacksonville International Airport, and 17 miles from Jacksonville Landing (downtown). This location is also six miles from the Jacksonville Zoological Gardens and Mayport (cruise port), 10 miles from Amelia Island and Alltel Stadium (Jacksonville Jaguars), 15 miles from Blount Island Command, and 25 miles from Mayport Naval Air Station. Hotel amenities include the outdoor swimming pool and complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel also offers free parking and free local calls. Small pets are welcome (prior approval and/or fees may apply).

On the other hand in Chamonix Mont Blanc France the lodge is always good. Even dining in my favorite restaurant, Ambassador Resort And Corp Center, enjoying Spinach Lasagna is a real treat. Chamonix Mont Blanc is a big enough village to make sure that there is lots of things for the non-skier to do. With a cross country skiing track and a shopping arcade of designer boutiques, Chamonix provides a combination of walking, old town charm and tourist attractions which not many resorts can hope to rival.
